The record — who I am

Builder, operator, field photographer.

Portrait of Brad Shannon

Greenville, South Carolina

I build AI products end to end — from prototype to production to the operations that keep them running. Twenty-five-plus years across IT, cybersecurity, and cloud gave me the systems instincts; the last several have gone into shipping AI software that real teams depend on.

I'm currently Director of Product Management at Summit 7, where I build managed-services solutions for complex, regulated environments. Outside that, I'm the founder of Agent Action Firewall and the builder behind several live AI products — Vitly, GuestGem, and ClankerBuilder among them — each one designed, shipped, and operated by me from idea to users.

Before software, I served as a U.S. Marine. I'm also an active prompt engineer and generative-AI creator, and — away from the keyboard — a wildlife photographer running a Canon 80D with a 300mm f/2.8L, chasing light most people are still asleep for.
