Product & Security

Director of Product Management with 25+ years in IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and cloud technologies. Currently at Summit 7 (Huntsville, AL), building managed services solutions that help organizations navigate CMMC and enterprise security challenges.

I founded Agent Action Firewall — an AI agent governance, safety, and audit platform featuring policy-based controls, human-in-the-loop approvals, semantic threat detection, and cryptographic audit trails. Currently preparing for public launch and developer beta.

As a U.S. Marine Veteran and speaker, I bring a strategic, mission-driven approach to product decisions. I write on X (@bradshannon) to make AI and emerging tech accessible, and publish open-source tools on GitHub.

Photography

Wildlife and landscape photography is one of my favorite creative outlets. I shoot primarily with a Canon 80D and a Canon EF 300mm f/2.8 L IS USM prime lens, capturing wildlife in their natural habitats and wide landscape scenes.

Prints of my wildlife and landscape photos are available for collectors.

Consulting

AI Strategy & Process Automation

I help organizations identify where AI delivers real ROI — replacing manual bottlenecks with intelligent workflows, deploying agents with the governance guardrails that enterprise and defense environments require, and moving from proof-of-concept to production faster than most teams think is possible.

AI Process Automation

Map your highest-friction workflows, design LLM-backed automation, and stand up the infrastructure to run it reliably — with measurable time and cost outcomes.

AI Governance & Agent Safety

Policy frameworks, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop controls for organizations deploying autonomous AI agents. Built on the same architecture powering Agent Action Firewall.

Defense & CMMC Compliance

NIST SP 800-171 gap assessments and CMMC readiness for defense contractors and managed service providers — from documentation to control implementation.

Product Strategy

Translating AI capabilities into shipped products — roadmap definition, vendor evaluation, build-vs-buy decisions, and GTM planning for AI-native tools.

What I Build For

01

Mission first

Decisions are clearer when the stakes are real. USMC and 25 years of security work shaped how I think about what matters — and what doesn't.

02

Security by design

Not bolted on after the fact. Every product I build treats trust and auditability as first-class requirements, not compliance checkboxes.

03

Clarity over complexity

AI and security are hard enough. I write and build to make them understandable to the people who need to act on them.
